Sunny Deol to play Hanuman in Nitesh Tiwari's 'Ramayana' with Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram |


For many months now, there have been various speculations and reports surrounding Nitesh TiwariIt is 'Ramayana'. However, there is simply no official announcement regarding this. Ranbir Kapoor is all set to play Lord Ram with Sai Pallavi essaying the role of Sita. Meanwhile, a few days ago, reports suggested that the 'KGF' star yash will play Raavan and Vijay Sethupathi will play Vibhishan.
And now, a more recent report suggests that sunny deol has been roped in to play Lord Hanuman in the film. According to Pinkvilla, the 'Gadar 2' actor is very excited to play this role and considers it a once in a lifetime opportunity. The makers think that Lord Hanuman represents the Force and who can be better to play this role with utmost conviction than Sunny.
The actor will start shooting for his role in 'Ramayana: Part One' from May 2024. According to the report, the first part will have Sunny as a special guest, but his role will be more in the second and third parts of this epic trilogy . The makers are also confident that after the mark Dara Singh left as Hanuman, only Sunny can come close to making a similar impact.
Ranbir collaborated with Bobby Deol in their latest movie 'Animal' and while they were at odds in the movie, fans loved seeing their bromance off-screen. It was also a treat for fans to see them together in the movie. Therefore, it would be interesting to see Ranbir and Sunny collaborate as both the actors respect each other a lot. Ranbir also always praised Bobby during the promotions of 'Animal'.
The first part of 'Ramayana' will release in March 2024 with Ranbir and Sai Pallavi. Lara Dutta has reportedly been confirmed to play Kaikeyi. Ranbir reportedly stopped smoking, drinking alcohol and eating non-vegetarian food so that he could essay the role of Lord Ram.
