Sharad Kelkar says he doesn't know what's stopping the industry from casting him in bigger roles | Hindi Movie News

Sharad Kelkarwho recently made his debut in the tamil industry with the film 'Ayalaan', he has always been able to shine regardless of the duration of his roles. Be it 'Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior' or 'Laxmii', both were supporting rolesbut he managed to make the most of his roles.
But nevertheless, he feels that it is time for the creators to offer him important roles. “I thought it was incredible and I feel very lucky to get roles like the ones you mentioned. There are many actors who could be better than me and could have done a better job. But the luck factor plays a role. I'm lucky to have gotten those roles. In comparison, in length they were smaller… I don't know why industry does not understand. I don't know what's stopping them foundry me in a bigger and better role. Maybe they make some additional business sense. “I don’t know the reason behind this.”
But he chooses to remain optimistic in life because he says he is a very positive guy and is just waiting his turn. He further stated: “I'm not saying he's a very good actor, but I work very hard and believe in myself. I never give up, that's the attitude I carry. “I’m hoping that one day people will believe in me.”
The recognition he receives gives him confidence that his performance had an effect on the viewer. He said: “My only first concern is if I can't play those roles. You have to convince yourself. You do your job and if people appreciate it, that gives you another motivation to play another challenging role. I take on roles like that.”
