After the stupendous success of 'Animal', Ranbir Kapoor He's all set to start filming his next project. Will soon be seen on Nitesh Tiwari'Ramayana' with Yash and Sai Pallavi. The film will be released in March this year.

ETimes now has exclusive information about the masterpiece, which is said to be mounted on a grand scale. According to our sources, the shooting of the epic story will mainly take place on sets in Mumbai. The source further added that ranbir Kapoor will shoot for 60 days in Mumbai. The makers will then move to London to shoot the Lanka portion of the film, which will run for around 60 days again, where Yash will also join. There will also be some combined shots of the two actors.
While in Ramayana, according to sources close to Ranbir, it was reported that he voluntarily gave up alcohol and non-vegetarian food, and even refrained from participating in late-night parties, to honor and prepare for his role as Lord Rama.

It was said that RK's decision to make these sacrifices was not simply for public image, but was based on his dedication to feeling as pure as Lord Ram. While he was filming for 'RamayanRanbir vowed to follow a disciplined routine, completely abstaining from alcohol and meat consumption. This transformation showed Ranbir Kapoor's commitment to delving deeper into the character, aligning his habits with the spiritual essence of Sri Rama.

The makers plan to release Ramayana in the second half of 2025.
