Actor Kunal Kemmu takes on a new role as director with his next film 'Madgaon Express'. stars Pratik Gandhi, Divyenndu, Avinash Tiwaryand Nora Fatehi in the lead roles.
Now, according to Bollywood Hungama report, the Central Board of Film certification (CBFC) has asked to make some modifications and changes before delivery of the certificate.
According to the report, the CBFC Examination Committee has asked the makers to properly modify the cleavage visuals in the second half. And they also asked the producers to properly modify the image of half-naked girls that occurs in the first half of Madgaon Express.
The report further added that a profane word was visible in the background at the beginning of the film. The removal of this offensive term was requested. Additionally, the film underwent audio edits in which certain swear words were replaced with more appropriate terms.
Apart from that, the CBFC directed the producers of Madgaon Express to insert long warnings that the film is a work of fiction and that they do not intend to disrespect any community, city, state, class, community, region, etc A second disclaimer was also added, warning that the consumption and trafficking of narcotics, drugs and psychotropic substances is prohibited by law.
'Madgaon Express' unfolds as a comedy, following three childhood friends on a trip to Goa that takes an unexpected turn. This marks the dynamic trio's first collaboration on a light-hearted comedy, ensuring a hilarious ride for audiences.
It is all set to hit theaters on March 22, 2024.
