Item 370 Box Office Collection: Yami Gautam starrer earns Rs 5 crore in fourth week | Hindi Movie News

Yami Gautama Article 370 is becoming the hit of the year as even in its fourth week, the film has managed to attract the audience and generate huge revenue for its makers. The film in its first three weeks had already collected around Rs 69.05 crore and everyone expected it to slowly disappear from the cinema halls but the film has shown a fighting spirit just like the character played by Yami Gautama in the film. In its fourth week, the film added another Rs 5.07 crore to its budget, according to industry tracker Sacnilk. The total collection of the film currently stands at Rs 74.12 crore.
On Friday, the film had earned only Rs 65 lakh, but on Saturday and Sunday it showed an increase to collect Rs 1.2 crore and Rs 1.5 crore respectively. On Monday, the film fell to Rs 40 lakh, but since then it has remained stable at the box office collecting an average of Rs 40 lakh every day. On Tuesday it earned Rs 45 lakh, on Wednesday it added the same amount and on Thursday it collected Rs 42 lakh, taking the fourth week's collection to Rs 5.07 crore. The film turned out to be a big buzz for everyone involved in the film as the reported budget of the film is just 20 crores.
The film in its first week earned Rs 35.6 million, in the second week it added Rs 22.3 million and in the third week it added another Rs 11.3 million. The movie business seems to be affected by the release of Ajay Devgn's Shaitaan and Siddharth Malhotra's Yodha, but the film has managed to find its audience and its tax-free status in Madhya Pradesh has also added more viewers to the film.
The film will remain Yami's fifth biggest hit to date and looks highly unlikely to rise in the rankings as his next biggest moneymaker was Rakesh Roshan's Kaabil, which raked in over Rs 100 crore at the box office.
