The film directed by Siddharth Anand Fighter has obtained a lukewarm response in terms of advance reservations, since the aerial action film has sold around 78,000 tickets in the 3 main national chains (PVR, Inox and Cinépolis) for the opening day alone. PVR leads the show with 66,000 tickets, followed by Cinépolis with 12,000 tickets.

Early booking for Fighter It will struggle to reach even close to 2 lakh on the top three national networks, which is around 50% less than films like Brahmastra [3,02,000] and tiger 3 [3,03,000] and even lower than Dunki [2,24,000]. It should be noted that Brahmastra opened at Rs. 30 crores and Tiger 3 depended on Salman Khan's strong pull in the mass belts which took it to Rs. 42 crores. Fighter is looking at a start of Rs. 22 to 25 crores, which is a below average opening for a big budget film. The advances in the mass circuits are below average, which indicates that there is hardly any interest in seeing the film on the first day of release.

It's a shame that a big-budget aerial action film with A-list stars and directors suffers from a very poor marketing and PR campaign and that producers have to review their strategies for positioning high-value performers. a movie like Fighter I should have easily looked at Rs. Between Rs 35 and 40 crore on the first day, but there is simply not enough awareness among the audience on the ground.

The final advance of Fighter on the 3 major networks there will be around 160,000, and word of mouth will push the walk-in audience and bring the film to a respectable figure from day one.
