Advance booking of filmmaker Siddharth Anand's film Fighter It didn't hit the box office. However, the film is slowly making up for itself at the box office. Therefore, despite opening at a decent amount of Rs. Earning Rs 24.60 crore on day 1 in India, the film, starring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles, jumped to Rs. 41.20 crore on day 2, which was Republic Day holiday across the country.

Fighter It has also achieved impressive figures at the global box office. The film grossed Rs. 78.33 crore so far in India and Rs. 21.61 crores in the overseas market. Therefore, the total world gross Fighter in the first two days it reduces to Rs. 99.94 crore, which is just a stone's throw away from the three-figure mark of Rs. 100 crores.

The good news for Fighter, both in India and abroad, is that no big Bollywood movies are scheduled to release in the coming weeks. This should give a very clear timeline for the action thriller in the coming weeks.

Fighter is the story of a group of brave Indian Air Force officers and their efforts to keep terrorism at bay. Also starring Anil Kapoor, Akshay Oberoi and Karan Singh Grover in pivotal roles, the film is produced by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures and Siddharth Anand's Marflix Pictures.
