Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff's film, Bade Miyan has seen a major drop in collections on day 2. As per early estimates, the film has collected around Rs. 6.50 crore to 7 crore on the second day, taking the two-day total collections to Rs 22.75 crore.

The film has fallen despite the benefit of Basi Eid, and this indicates the rejection of the audience. The budgets are high and this kind of drop in the second day numbers suggests that all is not well at the box office. The lifetime collections of Bade Miyan will be under Rs. 75 crores and this is a very poor result for an action film with two big stars like Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff. The director, Ali Abbas Zafar, is also a brand and hence these numbers are shocking.

Bade Miyan will look for an opening weekend of Rs. 35 to 37 crore, and it is Monday's test that will determine the shelf life.
